Rent Tipis at Arapaho Valley Ranch!
Our Native American Tipis provide our guests with a closeness to nature that you will not find at a mountain resort. Sound like roughing it?…Hardly. Our 20-foot Tipis are adorned with a queen size log bed, a camp kitchen, and we provide up to 2 cots with bedding for each Tipi. The Tipi is perfect for a couple or small family of 4.
The Tipis are mounted on decks to give a barrier between you and the elements. Each Tipi has a liner and a cap over the poles that can help protect from rain.
Our Camp Kitchen contains plates, silverware, cups, coffee percolator, cast iron pan, and cooking utensils. Also included is a cooler for food and beverages. Ice and firewood are available for purchase in our store. Each Tipi comes with a free stack of Firewood, and we do allow you to bring your own pre-chopped and bundled Firewood.
For cooking and warmth, there is a giant fire pit in the middle of Tipi Village. This fire pit has a giant grill top perfect for grilling. Bring your favorite grilling foods and beverages!
Colorful, Native American Blankets, warm and cozy sleeping bag blankets and soft sheets provide additional comforts. All bedding is provided for the bed, unless you have a favorite blanket or pillow you’d like to bring from home! Cots are provided with bedding if you are traveling from afar.
Outside of your Tipi is a large community fire pit for cooking or just relaxing. There is a men’s and women’s bath/shower house that include hot showers within a close walking distance of the Tipi’s.
Tipi Village is surrounded by lovely grass filled areas next to some shaded trees. Often times Glampers want to stay next to Campers, and if you have family or friends that are camping and want to stay next to you in your Tipi we can accommodate them in the same area. We also offer the ability to rent out all 5 Tipis in addition to these camping areas, making it a perfect location for a larger group to spend time together.
Our ranch runs on generated power, the generator is located just outside Tipi Village – she makes a quiet hum, which is noticeable to some guests – if are looking for a perfectly quite and silent place to stay, AVR Tipis are not for you!
~We do not allow dogs to stay in our Tipis, they are welcome for personal tent camping only!
